- Eganstown 5 km drive on Midland Hwy towards
Ballarat. CERINI Road is first left
turn left over Deep Springs Creek (100 metres)

will need to be at Ballarat Railway
Station before 1.30 pm to catch the bus -
Ballarat to Daylesford. The bus leaves at
13.50 and arrives in Daylesford at 14.45.
Alternatively an airport bus to Melbourne and
then by train from Southern Cross Station to
Woodend. Bus goes from
Woodend to Daylesford.

Eganstown around
1860’s was the first gold mining town in the region
and much of the relics are gone however ground works
are scattered thru the forest. A short walk to the
Deep Springs reserve. Source of bottled mineral
spring water for over a 100 years and still going.
